Promoting Recycling Education Through Community Outreach Programs at Elementary Schools

As announced in a press release dated July 31, 2024, the initiative aligns with their ongoing efforts to enhance recycling practices, particularly focusing on horizontal recycling methods such as 'Tray to Tray' and 'Bottle to Clear Container.' These practices aim to rejuvenate used food trays collected from store locations and transform them into new packaging solutions, thereby closing the resource loop.
On July 15, 2025, an environmental class will take place at Kawasaki City Nobuto Elementary School, targeting around 150 fourth-grade students. The curriculum is designed to instill knowledge about recycling and food waste, promoting proactive engagement in sustainable practices among children. FP Co. and Yaoko envision this program as a stepping stone toward a more sustainable society, one where future generations are equipped with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about the environment.
