CALB Unveils Next-Generation Energy Storage Solutions at Intersolar Europe 2026
In the bustling atmosphere of Intersolar Europe 2026, CALB made a significant impression by introducing its next-generation energy storage solutions branded as ZHIJIU. This innovative lineup included a complete range of advanced battery cells, state-of-the-art liquid-cooling storage systems, and integrated services strategically designed to facilitate Europe’s accelerating energy transition.
CALB's ZHIJIU solutions leverage the long-cycle battery technology developed by the company, built upon a standardized system platform. This versatile technology accommodates a wide array of applications—from large-scale energy storage plants to commercial and industrial projects. By offering a comprehensive suite that includes battery cells, systems, and after-sales services, CALB is committed to helping clients reduce the levelized cost of storage (LCOS), all the while enhancing safety, efficiency, and long-term project profitability.
At the heart of CALB’s presentation were its latest innovations in high-capacity battery cells, including a long-life stack cell featuring an impressive 661 Ah capacity and a 588 Ah long-cycle cell. The 661 Ah cell combines CALB's third-generation stacking technology with advanced lithium charging techniques, providing up to 15,000 cycles with no degradation during the first three years of operation. Furthermore, it boasts a calendar life that can extend up to 25 years.
Adding to its momentum, CALB unveiled its second-generation liquid-cooling energy storage container, which possesses a capacity of 6.25 MWh. This new design increases energy capacity by approximately 25% while reducing the number of system components by around 40% from the previous version. Additionally, modular liquid cooling systems with capacities of 6.9 MWh and over 10 MWh were introduced, focusing on enhancing energy density, simplifying transport and installation, and expediting project deployment.
For commercial and industrial applications, CALB presented its liquid-cooling cabinets, available in 261 kWh and 418 kWh configurations. Equipped with sophisticated ventilation systems, explosion-proof decompression, and active fire safety protection, these products offer flexible deployment options. They come with comprehensive international certifications and deliver exceptional lifecycle cost-effectiveness through the combination of long-lasting battery cells and liquid cooling technology.
Moreover, CALB’s long-cycle battery cell range, particularly the globally mass-produced 314 Ah cell (generation 2.0), stands as a robust foundation for emerging energy storage applications. As a key innovator in battery technology, CALB is persistently advancing energy storage with its leading-edge cell technology, standardized system architecture, and application capabilities encompassing all scenarios, thereby promoting Europe's transition to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.
The unveiling of these groundbreaking solutions at Intersolar Europe 2026 positions CALB at the forefront of energy technology innovation, showcasing its commitment to empowering the energy transition and supporting global sustainability goals.
