Prospera Expands to Support Small Businesses in Southwest Florida

Prospera, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Hispanic entrepreneurs, is excited to announce its expansion into Southwest Florida. The establishment of a new office is made possible by a substantial $500,000 commitment from JPMorganChase. This initiative will significantly enhance the support available for small business owners in key areas such as Naples, Ft. Myers, Cape Coral, Immokalee, and surrounding regions in Collier and Lee counties.

The purpose of this new office is to offer year-round and bilingual assistance tailored specifically to the needs of both established and aspiring small business owners. Through its variety of business advancement services, Prospera is set to tackle the barriers faced by entrepreneurs, enabling them to thrive and achieve sustainability in their ventures. With this initiative, the organization anticipates positive outcomes including increased business revenue, improved survival rates, boosted household incomes, better access to capital, and job creation in the region.

Over the next two years, Prospera aims to effectively utilize the funds from JPMorganChase to engage with local entrepreneurs, raise community awareness, deliver localized services, and identify potential partners and further funding sources.
