Industrial Project Innovation Reveals Major Leadership Changes and Strategic Expansion Plans

Strategic Leadership Transitions at Industrial Project Innovation

Industrial Project Innovation, LLC (IPI), a prominent entity in the realms of construction and project management, has publicly unveiled a series of strategic leadership transitions and an organizational restructuring that promises to position it favorably for sustainable growth. The announcement made on June 23, 2025, highlights IPI's commitment to expansion across various new markets and service sectors.

A Look at IPI’s Rapid Growth and New Leadership

Founded in 2016, IPI has successfully navigated the competitive landscape of the construction industry, witnessing significant growth thanks to its dedicated team and robust client partnerships. In light of its ongoing successes, the company is evolving its management support framework to meet future demands and ensure operational excellence.

Russ Braasch has been appointed as the new Director, effective immediately. He brings a wealth of experience in operations and organizational management, which will be crucial as IPI embarks on this exciting new chapter. Meanwhile, Kevin Ball transitions to the role of New Market Operations Manager, where he will spearhead key initiatives, including the international expansion of IPI, further reinforcing the firm's commitment to exploring new opportunities.

"I'm honored to take on this role at such an exciting time for IPI," Russ Braasch said upon his appointment. "We're building on a strong foundation and are well-positioned to grow into new markets while continuing to deliver exceptional value to our clients."

Structural Innovations for Future Success

In a bid to enhance flexibility and collaboration, IPI is moving towards a Matrix Organization structure. This operational model allows core functional departments—including People & Culture, Environmental Health & Safety, and Project Controls—to serve as centralized resources, ensuring that Business Unit Directors across sectors receive the necessary support.

New leadership roles have also been unveiled within this structure. Joye Garrett will become the Vice President of People and Culture, taking on responsibilities that streamline human resources in alignment with the new organizational goals. Robin Boatright has been promoted to HR Manager, succeeding Garrett and continuing IPI’s commitment to internal growth.

Dennis Braasch will remain in his current role as Advisory Board Chairman, guiding the company with strategic insight and industry relationships. Meanwhile, Derek Sorenson has stepped into the role of Operational Efficiency Lead, tasked with overseeing functional support departments critical to IPI’s operations. Ryan Braasch will lead as Business Intelligence & Technology Lead, overseeing marketing and innovation, areas crucial to IPI’s current trajectory.

Commitment to Cultivating Internal Talent

All of the recent promotions and transitions at IPI reflect the company's core beliefs in nurturing talent and fostering opportunities for career growth. This internal focus on professional development positions IPI to scale its services effectively, ensuring that client-focused outcomes remain consistent in both established and emerging markets.

Kevin Ball highlights the importance of these changes, stating, "This transition marks a key step in positioning IPI for sustained success. With a talented team and a bold vision, we're ready to explore new markets, expand our capabilities, and continue delivering world-class project solutions."
