Royal Caribbean Showcases Artistic Talent at New Beach Club with Local Bahamian Creatives

Royal Caribbean Highlights Bahamian Artistic Talent at Royal Beach Club

Royal Caribbean is set to elevate its Artist Discovery Program by featuring 11 talented local Bahamian artists at its upcoming destination, the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island. This innovative beach club, which will open its doors in December 2025, invites visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of The Bahamas while enjoying an all-inclusive beach experience.

The Artist Discovery Program, which originated on the cruise line's Icon of the Seas ship, aims to spotlight emerging artists in the regions that Royal Caribbean visits. As part of the program's expansion, the selected cohort of Bahamian creatives will curate a series of art pieces across 25 designated spots at the beach club, enhancing the venue's aesthetic and cultural experience.

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island promises to deliver the ultimate seaside getaway, and the incorporation of local artistry is a testament to its commitment to celebrating Bahamian culture. The president of Royal Caribbean Group Bahamas, Philip Simon, expressed excitement for this program, highlighting the dynamic energy and natural beauty that each artist will bring to the destination. The art will embody three primary themes: Underwater Adventures, celebrating the islands' rich marine biodiversity; Junkanoo Jubilee, reflecting the vibrant music and dance traditions; and Bahama Bliss, which evokes a sense of tranquility and relaxation.

Visitors can expect to see standout pieces such as a towering 22-foot mural representing Junkanoo culture by local artist Allan Wallace and a whimsical postcard-inspired artwork by Deldra Sands, which warmly welcomes tourists to Paradise Island.
