Kibitech Enhances Remote Recovery Functionality for Manipulators in HATS Software

Kibitech's Innovative Update to HATS



Kibitech, headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, has announced a significant upgrade to its proprietary robot management software platform, HATS. The recent enhancement focuses on the remote control functionality for manipulators, making it markedly easier for users to oversee and manage a diverse range of robots operating in various environments.

Overview of the Enhanced Features



The update introduces several key functionalities designed to streamline the manipulation process:

1. Rectangular Drawing Tool: A mouse-operated feature that allows users to draw a rectangle on the browser. This function specifies the desired position for the manipulator's end effector, from which the system calculates the intermediary hand positions required for precise operations. 2. Jog Control Functionality: This feature provides fine-tuned adjustments, enabling operators to make precise movements incrementally, ensuring exact positioning of the robotic components.

3. Tilt Detection via Camera: The software now includes the capability to analyze camera images for detailed evaluations of the target surface's inclination. This enhancement facilitates easier adjustments by visualizing tilt discrepancies, which are displayed in a color-coded format, making it easier for the operator to understand the adjustments that need to be made.
