2026 CAS Future Leaders Announced
Columbus, Ohio - March 19, 2026: CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society (ACS) focused on scientific knowledge management, proudly announces the 2026 CAS Future Leaders™ cohort. This selection highlights an outstanding group of early-career scientists from a highly competitive global pool, specializing in areas such as cheminformatics, synthetic biology, and materials science.
Participants will engage in an immersive in-person program in August, which will provide workshops on leadership and career development, mentoring opportunities with industry leaders, and scientific exchanges with peers. Peter Carlton, program director of CAS Future Leaders, expressed pride in supporting these emerging scientists, emphasizing the growing interest in developing skills that enhance their influence in their respective fields.

This two-week program will provide exclusive insights into CAS operations, showcasing the organization’s efforts to transform scientific knowledge into actionable insights for innovative enterprises. Participants will also have the unique opportunity to present their research at the ACS Fall 2026 Conference in Chicago, Illinois, and receive a three-year membership in ACS.
