Yamaha Expands CK Series with CK76 Stage Keyboard

Yamaha has officially unveiled the CK76 Stage Keyboard, marking a significant addition to their acclaimed CK Series lineup. With this new model, Yamaha offers musicians a perfect blend of portability and performance, aimed at those who need to create music on the go. The CK76 features a semi-weighted 76-key action providing appropriate feedback for various performance styles. This versatile instrument promises authentic sounds of pianos, organs, and synthesizers, making it a delightful option for professional musicians.

Elevating Performance and Portability

What sets the CK76 apart is its design focused on mobility without sacrifice. Weighing in as a lightweight device, it is equipped with built-in speakers and offers battery-powered operation, allowing musicians to set up and perform virtually anywhere. This portability is accompanied by a powerful sound engine that captures the nuances of acoustic pianos alongside vintage organ sounds, synthesized tones, and more, catering to a wide array of musical genres.

According to Nate Tschetter, Yamaha's senior manager for synth product marketing, the CK76 harmonizes control and creativity in a way that allows musicians to concentrate on their craft rather than complicated setups. The keyboard’s intuitive interface ensures that players can quickly adjust sounds in real time, avoiding any cumbersome menu navigation.

Unmatched User Control

With a one-to-one control design, the CK76 has dedicated controls for Organs, Synth sounds, and Effects, making the experience seamless. For those interested in combining sounds or layering instruments, the expanded 76-key range and two split points offer enhanced flexibility, allowing for complex multi-zone performances to cater to varying musical needs. Additionally, the integrated Analog-to-Digital (A/D) input enables easy connection of microphones or external instruments, making it effortless for recording or applying effects directly.

This powerful combination of functionality, ease of use, and quality puts this keyboard in a league of its own—an instrument perfectly tailored for today’s diverse and mobile musicians.

Differentiating Options in the CK Series

The CK Series now includes three models catering to different musician preferences and playing styles:
CK61: Best for players emphasizing speed, simplicity, and optimal portability.
CK76: Ideal for those needing greater range without the heft of an 88-key instrument.
* CK88: Suitable for musicians seeking a full piano experience, emphasizing expression and control.
