From September 5 to September 22, 2025, GALLERY ESCAPERS will host an enchanting exhibition titled 'See through' at the TABAYA United Arrows 1F Gallery in Shibuya, Tokyo. This exhibition features a diverse array of captivating glass artworks by four talented artists: Lætitia Jacquetton, Yoshiko Nitta, Sachiko Matsubara of copo e eu, and May Masutani. Each artist brings a unique cultural background and artistic expression to their glass creations, making this an event not to be missed.

The glass pieces created by these artists resonate with memories, emotions, and landscapes, reflecting the world beyond their transparent surfaces. Visitors will find themselves imagining and exploring alternate realities as they engage with these exquisite works. The exhibition is an invitation to delve into the intricate, diverse worlds that emerge from the convergence of the artists' perspectives and techniques.

Laetitia Jacquetton


Originating from the Burgundy region of France, Laetitia Jacquetton developed her skills at renowned fashion houses such as Charon Wackob and Martin Margiela. After serving as the art director at the Parisian Galeries Lafayette, she honed her craft on the island of Murano in Venice. Currently splitting her time between Italy and France, she is known for her innovative flower vases that incorporate glassblowing and stone. At this exhibition, attendees can expect to see her new creations, including exclusive designs that highlight unique glass textures. The prices for her pieces range from 209,000 yen to 275,000 yen, making them both exquisite and collectible.

Yoshiko Nitta


Yoshiko Nitta is celebrated for her delicate glass works adorned with intricate sand patterns. With a theme of coexistence with nature, she explores her unique artistic vision through the sandblasting technique applied to glassblowing. Hailing from Osaka and having studied at Kurashiki University of Science and Art, Nitta became independent as an artist after working at TAIZO GLASS STUDIO and Studio Re Light. Now based in Tokyo, she specializes in creating diverse works, including ornamental pieces inspired by leaf veins and various new objects such as plates and small items. Prices for her works range from 13,200 yen to 15,400 yen.

Sachiko Matsubara - copo e eu


After graduating from Tama Art University with a focus on glass, Sachiko Matsubara honed her skills at Azumino Glass Studio before establishing her brand, copo e eu, which means 'cup and me' in Portuguese. Her pieces explore the origins of individual beauty and values by creatively merging glass with other materials. This exhibition will feature new works, including stone + glass pieces and layered glass inspired by May's sky and seashores, priced between 4,950 yen and 19,800 yen.

May Masutani


Born in Singapore and currently based in Toyama, May Masutani has an educational background in graphic design and has extensively studied glass techniques. Her works are characterized by their delicate structures, and she has gained recognition through numerous exhibitions, including 'Designers & Crafters Edition 01' and 'Tokyo Midtown Street Museum 2024.' At the exhibition, she will display her signature series, Gather 1.1 and Gather 1.3, showcasing intricate glass pieces interlinked to create extraordinary compositions.

During the exhibition, the 1F Café & Bar will offer special drinks to celebrate the event. Customers who purchase featured items will receive a drink ticket, enhancing their experience of enjoying art alongside delightful refreshments.
