AMG Unveils Special Videos for ARCO Anime Film

Amusement Media General Academy (AMG), located in Shibuya, Tokyo, has recently shared two special videos on its official YouTube channel, celebrating the upcoming release of the anime film "ARCO." This initiative is part of AMG Entertainment's production efforts to inspire aspiring voice actors.

About the Released Videos

The first video features messages from AMG alumni voice actors, including Yurie Ikoma, Daisuke Nezu, Yuki Arimoto, and Miho Wataya, aimed at those pursuing a career in voice acting. They discuss the charm of the profession, the excitement of performing, and the importance of maintaining effort while chasing dreams. This heartfelt message intends to motivate younger generations contemplating their career paths.

The second video is a documentary that closely follows current students of AMG as they collaborate with industry professionals in a recording studio for "ARCO." It showcases the vital skills required in a professional setting, such as quick thinking, expressiveness, character development, and responsiveness to direction from sound engineers. The real-life experiences of nervousness and gratification faced by students in the professional environment are vividly depicted, providing concrete insights into AMG's hands-on educational environment.

About ARCO

Set to be released nationwide in April 2026, "ARCO" has already garnered considerable attention, having been nominated for the Best Animated Feature at the 98th Academy Awards and receiving accolades from prestigious events including the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Annie Awards, European Film Awards, and the César Awards. Four students from AMG's voice acting department participated in the film, working alongside top-tier cast members and alumni.

These videos not only highlight the appeal of the film but also portray AMG's unique educational environment where students engage in professional production settings. The content aims to provide prospective students and those interested in voice acting, performance, and the entertainment industry with a clearer picture of their potential career paths.
