Experience the Gastronomic Delights of Galicia in Tokyo

A remarkable event highlighting the flavors of Galicia is set to take place in Tokyo, hosted by Sluarenas Corporation, led by Nerea Garcia Arenas. Renowned for its Spanish wine specialty store, Spanish wine & Culture EVERYONE'S CASTLE, the company is also set to launch its sister restaurant, Spanish Bar MAMA'S CASTLE, in Edogawabashi by March 2025.

Focusing on Spanish-themed ventures, including tour guiding and Spanish language classes, Sluarenas brings a slice of Spain to the heart of Tokyo. The collaboration with Paco Gomez, a culinary leader from Galicia, promises a unique experience that showcases the rich culinary heritage of this region.

Galicia, known for its abundant bounty, is a haven for food lovers. The region's signature dish, Pulpo a la Gallega (Galician-style octopus), is just one of the many delectable offerings from an area celebrated for its seafood, cheese, and of course, exceptional wines. Over three luxurious days, attendees can immerse themselves in the authentic tastes of Galicia, organized in partnership with the Ourense Business Association.

Meet the Chef: Paco Gomez

Chef Paco Gomez, a fourth-generation owner of a Galician octopus restaurant, seamlessly blends tradition with modernity. As vice-president of the Amugos da Cozinha Gallega and the Ourense Hotel and Restaurant Association, he strives to uphold the authenticity of Galician cuisine. He has garnered numerous accolades, including Spain’s Best Pulpeiro in 2015 and Best Tapas Chef in Galicia in 2019, showcasing his dedication to promoting Galician gastronomy.

Gomez was also honored by the Galician government for his substantial contributions to the promotion of Galician cuisine and products. Operating 13 restaurants under the brands A Feira and Sabor a Galicia in Galicia, Asturias, and Madrid, he is a prominent figure in Spain's culinary landscape.

• - Open for approximately 40 customers (free entry)
• - Includes tasting of exclusive wines debuting in Japan!

Day 3: May 11 (Sunday), 14:00 – 17:00 at MAMA’S CASTLE
Buffet of Galician Cuisine and Wine Pairings
