Experience the Vibrant Culture and Cuisine at Green Ireland Festival 2026
In the heart of Tokyo, the
Green Ireland Festival 2026 is set to unfold across two exciting days on March 14 and 15. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the festival, an event that has become a cornerstone celebration of Irish culture in Japan, organized by the
Green Ireland Festival Executive Committee and the
Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce (IJCC).
Drawing on the festive spirit of
St. Patrick's Day, the festival aims to connect the rich traditions of Ireland with the diverse culture of Japan. Last year's festival attracted an impressive 100,000 visitors despite challenging weather conditions. With entry free of charge and no reservations required, the event encourages everyone to join in the festivities.
Attendees can immerse themselves in a sea of Irish green as they enjoy vibrant
Irish music and engaging dance performances throughout the venue. The festival will feature an array of food stalls offering traditional Irish cuisine and beverages, alongside booths showcasing Irish products and local tourism information. Visitors will have the chance to participate in various workshops and cultural experiences.
