The popular jump rope program offered by Life & Sports Co., Ltd. is back for children in the Bunkyo Ward of Tokyo! From July 21 to August 28, 2025, the 'Jump Rope Short Course' will be hosted at four locations, providing a fantastic opportunity for kids to enhance their physical skills. The previous jump rope class that took place in Fall 2024 saw a remarkable 100% satisfaction rate among participants. Many parents shared positive feedback, noting improvements not just in technical skills but also in their children's confidence and enthusiasm for practice at home.

Understanding Karaspo

Karaspo, short for 'Karada Kinou Sports Classroom,' started in Myogadani in 2018 and has grown into a beloved local sports class for kids. It consists of four facilities in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo, and aims to instill the joy of movement into children’s lives. By integrating gymnastics activities such as the horizontal bar, vaulting horse, and mat exercises with engaging coordination training, Karaspo nurtures each child's development with care and support.

Jump Rope Short Course Overview

Event Schedule:

- Dates: July 21 (Tuesday) - August 28 (Friday), 2025
- Application Period: July 1 (Tuesday) 20:00 - August 10 (Sunday) 23:59
- Registration: Via the reservation site 'hacomono' on their My Page to purchase tickets.
- Payment Method: Credit card payment is accepted. Members can choose to have fees debited from their accounts (combined with September's fee).

Course Details:

- Starter Course:

- Target Age: Ages 3-6 (1st graders can also join)
- Content: Focused instruction on basic skills like rope turning and forward jumps.
- Capacity: Maximum of 6 children per session
- Duration: 45 minutes per session
- Fee: Members 12,000 yen / General 15,000 yen (total of 4 sessions, including tax)

- Level-Up Course:

- Target Age: Ages 6-14 (including middle school students)
- Content: Challenges including double jumps, cross jumps, and more.
- Capacity: Maximum of 6 children per session
- Duration: 45 minutes per session
- Fee: Members 12,000 yen / General 15,000 yen (total of 4 sessions, including tax)

Unique Reward Cards:

Each student will receive a 'Jump Rope Card' tailored to their level:

- Starter Course: Students practice forward jumps and mark their progress with colors and stickers.
- Level-Up Course: Cards are designed with rankings based on jump skills, motivating kids to reach higher levels.

Feedback from Previous Participants

The previous jump rope classes that took place from October to December 2024 introduced various mechanisms to make learning fun, such as recording jump counts and rewarding achievements with stickers. Parents observed significant breakthroughs with their children seeing improvements like jumping from zero to 24 consecutive jumps and confidently showing off their skills at school or in the community.

Parental feedback included positive changes saying, "My child gained confidence in a short period and has become more proactive in various situations," as well as appreciation for techniques that were difficult to teach at home.
