Zoomlion's Innovations at the 2026 Global Mining Machinery Expo

On May 16, 2026, Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. hosted its Global Mining Machinery Expo in Changsha, China. The event attracted an impressive assembly of over 500 clients and industry partners from nearly 30 countries, all eager to explore the latest in mining technology and solutions that Zoomlion has to offer.

The venue for this significant event was the Zoomlion Smart City Digging Machinery Park, where they prominently displayed their advancements in three key areas: heavy machinery for open-pit mining, electric and hybrid equipment geared toward sustainable operations, and autonomous transportation and management systems for mining.

At the heart of the exhibition were three flagship models, namely the world's largest hybrid wheel loader, the ZWL360, the hybrid electric mining truck ZTE450HEV, and the dual-engine mining excavator ZE1650G. The ZWL360 is an engineering marvel with a nominal load of 36 tons and a combined power output of 1,495 kilowatts, promising over 15% energy savings compared to similar machines. The ZTE450HEV boasts the capability to carry a payload of 240 tons thanks to its diesel-electric transmission system, which incorporates energy recovery features. Meanwhile, the ZE1650G operates with two QSM15 engines in tandem, designed for demanding mining conditions.

Moreover, Zoomlion unveiled over 40 innovative mining products and components, including the hybrid ZT160HEV and the fully electric ZT165EV mining trucks. Their range of electric and hybrid machines is already operating in various mines across the globe, with each unit exceeding 8,000 service hours, showcasing their reliability and efficiency in the field.

The company stressed its commitment to sustainability through multiple proprietary green technologies. For instance, the adaptive energy management system ZM-i powers their hybrid machines using an
