HOBBYWING CUP 2026 On-Road Racing Event

Get ready for an exhilarating day at the HOBBYWING CUP 2026, scheduled to take place on May 31, 2026, at the Tsukuba RC Park in Ibaraki Prefecture. Organized by Sekido Corporation, the event promises to be a highlight for radio control car enthusiasts, offering an indoor carpet track experience like no other.

Event Details

• - Date: May 31, 2026 (Sunday)
• - Time: Gates open at 9:00 AM, closing at 6:00 PM
• - Location: Tsukuba RC Park Speed Grand Prix Course

Facilities: Air conditioning, indoor pits, separate restrooms, power sources, compressor, ample parking, dining options, and a shop.

• - Parking: Free parking available for over 200 vehicles.
• - Registration Fees: 3,190 yen (tax included) for one class, 4,190 yen for two classes. Pre-payment accepted from the day before the event.
• - Entry Limit: A maximum of 80 participants or 120 total entries; registration closes May 25 at 11:00 PM.

Exciting Classes for All Levels

This year’s event marks the fourth installment of the HOBBYWING CUP, featuring five class categories to suit everyone from beginners to seasoned racers:

1. RC SuperGT 4WD Class: Popular among participants of all skill levels, this race promotes equal conditions.
2. RS Scale Brushless Class: Ideal for newcomers, the class offers manageable power for entry-level users.
3. JMRCA Touring Stock 17.5T Blinky Class: A non-boost, non-turbo class that challenges racers to hone their skills.
4. JMRCA Touring Sports 17.5T Boost Class: High-speed racing using boosted and turbo gear.
5. JMRCA Touring Modified Class: A premier class that includes top drivers and offers the highest level of competition.

Participants can enter multiple classes, though triple entries are not allowed. All entries will be subject to a pre-race technical inspection.

Rewards and Fun

Top three contestants in each class will receive trophies and prizes. In addition to the races, there will be drawings and a rock-paper-scissors tournament to ensure that the day is filled with camaraderie and excitement for participants and their families.
