Tomonori Tomura, an acclaimed expert, brings extensive experience as the Chairman of the Japan Management Institute. With a background that includes serving at the United Nations in various capacities related to internal audit and governance, he has a wealth of knowledge to share. During his tenure, he was involved in raising issues around ESG and business and human rights, actively working to develop frameworks and best practices in these sectors.

Furthermore, his academic contributions include adjunct professorships and active roles in business consultancy. He has authored 34 books, exploring topics around corporate governance and ethical conduct, and has been recognized for his leadership in various domains, including security consulting and crisis management.
