Envision Energy, a prominent player in the green technology sector, has recently secured the coveted Gold Award for Cross-Border Collaboration of the Year at the Asian Power Awards 2025. This accolade celebrates its significant contributions to the landmark 600 MW Monsoon Wind Project in Lao People's Democratic Republic, marking a pivotal achievement in Southeast Asia's renewable energy landscape.

Located primarily in the southern provinces of Sekong and Attapeu, the Monsoon Wind Project is not only Laos' inaugural wind energy development but also the largest single-unit wind farm in Southeast Asia. As the exclusive supplier of wind turbines for the project, Envision Energy made tremendous strides by signing a turbine supply agreement in March 2023 and successfully delivering all 133 wind turbines ahead of the projected deadline by July 2024. This remarkable feat underscores Envision’s commitment to advancing the Belt and Road Initiative’s renewable energy goals.

The project's design features a 500 kV transmission line that aims to deliver clean energy to Vietnam, substantially aiding in reducing carbon emissions by an estimated 35 million tons throughout its operational lifespan. Moreover, it aligns with Laos' strategic vision of becoming the 'Battery of Southeast Asia' by serving as a hub for renewable energy exports.

Envision Energy employed cutting-edge technologies along with a rigorous project assurance mechanism to navigate the challenging site conditions, guaranteeing the quality and timely delivery of the wind turbines.
