American Public University System Hosts Nationwide Virtual Career Fair
The American Public University System (APUS) is preparing to host a significant event known as the
Pathways to Possibilities Virtual Career Fair on
Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from
11 AM to 3 PM ET. This event will embrace participants across the nation, providing an unprecedented opportunity for job seekers to connect with leading employers from the healthcare, technology, business, and government sectors.
For the very first time, all four academic divisions of APUS—
American Military University (AMU),
American Public University (APU),
Rasmussen University, and
Hondros College of Nursing—will collaborate in this career advancement initiative. The fair aims to bridge the gap between current students, alumni, and prospective job opportunities by allowing participants to engage directly with recruiters and organizational representatives across a spectrum of industries.
Angela Selden, Chancellor of the APUS, expressed the essence of the initiative, emphasizing that career readiness remains a critical component of the university's mission to transform lives and advance careers. She highlighted, "This event connects students and graduates, educated for service, with employers and opportunities." This is a fantastic chance for job seekers to gain insights, network with potential employers, and find job openings that align with their qualifications and career aspirations.
Registration Information
The
Pathways to Possibilities Virtual Career Fair is a
free event, welcoming anyone with internet access to participate. Attendees are encouraged to register in advance to streamline the process. Last year, nearly
900 participants registered for the career fair, with

APUS offers over
290 degree programs across various disciplines, including nursing, healthcare, cybersecurity, information technology, business, criminal justice, intelligence, education, and public service. These services play a pivotal role in equipping students and alumni with the skills needed to excel in the job market.
