Last month, on November 26, LiuGong (000528.SZ) officially unveiled its new brand, E-Intelligence, during the Global Dealers Conference 2025 and the Global Customer Day held in Liuzhou. This global launch marks a significant milestone in LiuGong’s transformation towards eco-friendly practices and its commitment to sustainable development.

Commitment to Sustainability

The launch highlighted LiuGong's motto: "FORWARD TO ECOLOGY, POWERING EXTREMES," showcasing the company's dual commitment to lead the construction machinery industry towards a more sustainable future while delivering reliable productivity even under extreme operating conditions. This brand enhancement indicates a strategic shift for LiuGong from a traditional equipment manufacturer to a provider of productive solutions with a complete lifecycle approach.

Technological Innovations

During its electrification journey, LiuGong is not limiting itself to a single technological path. Instead, the company is focusing on real applications and building a reliable, diversified portfolio of solutions. From fully electric to hybrid systems, and from cable-powered to battery swapping solutions, LiuGong aims to provide highly customized designs that enable customers to achieve the optimal balance between productivity and total ownership costs in various operational environments.

Extreme Conditions

To address the challenges posed by extreme temperatures, LiuGong has developed advanced technologies. In freezing conditions (-30 °C), remote pre-heating systems and battery adaptation technologies significantly reduce cold-start times and enhance operational stability. Conversely, in extreme heat (+50 °C), advanced temperature control systems, reinforced cooling solutions, and heat-resistant materials ensure stable battery and electronic control performance during continuous high-load operation.
Moreover, in special operational scenarios such as high-altitude environments and corrosive chemical settings, LiuGong employs enhanced cooling systems, corrosion-resistant components, and IP67 rated battery protection (dustproof and waterproof for 30 minutes), ensuring essential productivity at all times.

Building the Future Ecosystem

For LiuGong, electrification is merely the beginning. The long-term vision includes creating an intelligent ecosystem that integrates energy, equipment, data, and operations. This ecosystem is based on green energy infrastructure, intelligent operating platforms, and data-driven optimization, enabling efficient energy use, coordinated equipment operations, and continuous improvements in performance. Launching the "Global Green Alliance Tour 2026"

Collaborating with nine global dealerships and customer partners, this initiative aims to channel selected successes in green business initiatives toward ongoing global public welfare projects. LiuGong’s green alliance has already demonstrated tangible results in several regions, including clean drinking water projects in Africa and the establishment of a central kitchen in Indonesia, thus enhancing the living and educational conditions of local communities and schools. The launch ceremony saw participation from LiuGong President Luo Guobing, global partners, and diplomats from various countries. Moving forward, LiuGong will invite more partners to join the green alliance, spreading the vision of "FORWARD TO ECOLOGY" to communities worldwide and working together for a greener, sustainable future.
