On November 20, 2025, Watami Co., Ltd., headquartered in Ota City, Tokyo, will introduce a seasonal limited edition bento called 'Unatama-ju', available exclusively through its meal delivery service, Watami no Takushoku. This service aims to provide a touch of seasonal festivities by offering limited-time, monthly special bento options to its customers.

The 'Unatama-ju' is inspired by the popular Kansai local delicacy known as 'Unatama'. Maintaining the generous serving size of the seasonal favorite 'Unaju', which has received rave reviews each summer during the Doyo period, this bento also features three slices of sweet omelet infused with delicate bonito dashi, all while keeping the price the same for added value.

This highlights Watami's commitment to combining quality with affordability. The grilled eel within the dish is prepared over charcoal, resulting in a crispy, aromatic exterior, while the tender, fluffy eel flesh pairs beautifully with a sweet and savory sauce.
