Contributing to Social Good: For every kilogram of items collected and successfully reused, FamilyMart will donate one yen to select Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) focused on environmental protection and social issues. This allows customers to turn their surplus into tangible contributions to worthy causes simply by participating in this initiative.

The Journey of Reused Goods


Customers' donations will undergo a thorough process to ensure they return as valuable resources:
1. Reuse: The repurposable items will be sent to Book Off's “Jalan Jalan Japan” shops based abroad, where they are highly sought after due to their good condition.
2. Recycle: Items unsuitable for reuse will be transformed into new materials. Currently, items from domestic partners are recycled into industrial cloths and felt, with ambitions to create new products like bags and towels in the future.

Items Accepted


To ensure a smooth process, there are guidelines for what can be donated:
  • - Collectible Items: General clothing, fashion accessories, everyday goods, toys, and sporting goods, as long as they are clean and in good condition.
  • - Uncollectible Items: Soiled or damaged goods, used or sanitary items, electrical appliances, sharp tools, and consumables are prohibited.
