On October 20, 2026, New Commerce Ventures (NCV) will host a landmark event titled New Commerce Pitch: B2B Night in partnership with Mizuho Bank and GMO Payment Gateway. This special edition event is designed to spotlight emerging trends and case studies that are poised to transform B2B commerce and payment methods.

The event is expected to attract approximately 300 participants, including business enterprises, financial institutions, startups, and venture capital representatives. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain insights into innovative approaches in B2B transactions and payment solutions while also discovering startups that can address their specific business needs.

The Focus on B2B Transformation

Historically, the New Commerce Pitch series has brought together startups in the commerce and retail sectors with established companies for collaboration opportunities. With over 300 prominent firms participating thus far, the series has facilitated more than 1,800 successful matches between startups and businesses. This enables startups to propose their Proof of Concept (PoC), service implementations, and partnerships, all within a single event, while established companies can identify partners to address their operational challenges. This B2B-focused event is set to enhance prior editions by leveraging collaborations with Mizuho Bank, a leader in financial innovation, and GMO Payment Gateway, renowned for its cutting-edge payment solutions.

Topics such as Agency Commerce and Embedded Finance will be thoroughly explored. Through panels and discussions, the event will investigate how key aspects of B2B transactions—including ordering, invoicing, payments, credit assessments, fund management, and procurement—are expected to evolve.

Led by NCV, this opening will introduce the prevailing market conditions surrounding B2B transactions and present noteworthy services and technologies.

1. Visa's Initiatives in Agency B2B Commerce – Featuring Mr. Kai Matsuda, Director of Corporate Solutions, Visa Japan.
2. The Transformation of B2B Transactions via Embedded Finance with freee and GMO Payment Service – Presented by Mr. Akihiro Sato, Executive Officer at freee Co.
3. Financial Support for Corporate Credit Assessment Using Mizuho’s UPSIDER BANK – Presented by Tomoyuki Akiyama, Business Head of UPSIDER BANK.

Part 2: Co-Creation Strategies in B2B Payment Evolution
