SHEIN Kicks Off the 11th '#SHEIN Again' Vintage Clothing Exchange Campaign
Overview
SHEIN, the fashion and lifestyle e-commerce giant, is excited to announce its upcoming campaign, '#SHEIN Again,' which will take place from June 1 to June 15, 2025, at SHEIN TOKYO. This initiative encourages participants to exchange unwanted clothing for new items, promoting sustainability and community engagement.
The '#SHEIN Again' Campaign
The '#SHEIN Again' campaign sees participants bringing in outdated pieces from their wardrobes to trade for new apparel, shoes, or bags. This program, which first launched in July 2024, has already garnered impressive participation with 5,492 individuals involved up to mid-May 2025, accumulating over 4,146 kg of clothing for recycling through certified NPO Bridge Asia Japan (BAJ). The recycling process not only helps reduce waste but also generates funds to support BAJ’s initiatives in Myanmar and Vietnam.
This year, the campaign has expanded its offerings, allowing participants to exchange items beyond just clothing, including shoes and bags. Each individual can return home with up to three exchanged items, and an additional item can be obtained by posting on social media platforms with the hashtag '#SHEINAgain,' potentially bringing the total to four items.
Past Campaign Successes
In the previous '#SHEIN Again' campaign from May 1 to May 15, 2025, the event was met with excitement, drawing 582 participants who contributed 456 kg of clothing, which also benefited BAJ’s ongoing projects in Southeast Asia. The successful engagement highlights the community's commitment to environmental responsibility and the willingness to participate in sustainable fashion practices.
