New Cancer Care Facility in Seminole County

The Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC (FCS) has proudly inaugurated a modern, state-of-the-art patient care facility located at 750 Orienta Avenue, Altamonte Springs, FL. This new center is dedicated to serving adults facing cancer, blood disorders, and other related diseases. According to Nathan H. Walcker, CEO of FCS, this expansion is emblematic of their commitment to providing patients with convenient access to comprehensive cancer care services within their local community.

Facility Highlights

The newly built, two-story structure has been specifically designed to prioritize patient comfort and provider efficiency. The Altamonte Springs clinic features nine private exam rooms and a total of 35 infusion therapy chairs. Importantly, patients will benefit from on-site specialty pharmacy and hematopathology lab services, along with seamless care coordination and access to cutting-edge treatments through clinical trial participation.

The facility complements the existing network of FCS locations in Seminole County, which includes the Lake Mary Cancer Center and Drug Development Unit, Sanford's Radiation Oncology, and the FCS Oviedo clinic. This advanced facility replaces the former Altamonte clinic situated at 206 Boston Avenue.

Commitment to Patient Care

Dr. Ralph Gousse, a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist at the FCS Altamonte clinic, emphasized the dedication of his team, stating, "The individuals within these walls are committed to positively impacting the lives of our patients and ensuring they achieve the best possible outcomes." He is joined by other board-certified oncologists at this facility including Dr. Tarek Eldawy, Dr. Mohsin Malik, and Dr. Kapilkumar Manvar. The Altamonte team also comprises advanced practice providers as well as certified oncology nutritionists and support staff.

During the facility's opening, Seminole County Chamber President Rebekah Arthur expressed her gratitude for FCS's partnership and its focus on enhancing community health.
