KCM Trade and TRC Teams Shine in Thailand's Drift Competition
The renowned drift team based in Hong Kong, KCM Trade x TRC x Harson Tyres, successfully showcased their skills on the international stage by participating in the 'DC Playground' drift competition held on September 7 in Pathum Thani, Thailand. In a highly competitive environment filled with local talent, the team exhibited exceptional technique and teamwork, securing the runner-up position in the HARSON class and achieving third place in the DEESTONE class. This performance further demonstrated the high competitiveness of Hong Kong teams in the drifting scene.
Young and Veteran Drivers Unite for International Success
Leading driver Ken Yeung dominated the HARSON class, claiming a commendable second place after a fierce battle against local Thai competitors. Additionally, Ryan Tsui delivered a steady performance, making it into the top 16 and earning valuable points for the team. The participation of rising star Benson and female driver Little Chan in the main event stands as a testament to the effective driver development program cultivated by KCM Trade x TRC.
KCM Trade's office staff in Thailand also showed their support at the event, cheering for their drivers and promoting camaraderie.
High-performance Support from Harson Tyres
During this tournament, the high-performance tires from technical partner Harson Tyres provided consistent grip and linear responsiveness, even under challenging track conditions and heavy loads. This performance proved vital for the team’s success on the drift track.
Spreading the Drift Craze across Asia
In an effort to engage the community, KCM Trade invited 50 local customers to experience the thrill of drift racing up close. Through drifting, KCM Trade aims to unite communities and expand this culture from Hong Kong to Thailand and throughout Asia. They aspire to evolve drifting from a niche activity into a mainstream cultural phenomenon appreciated by a broader audience.

Founded in 2000 in Hong Kong, TRC (TYPE R CLUB) is a prominent racing team involving in motorsport culture promotion. They are active in various racing formats from touring cars to drifting, based at the Zhuhai International Circuit.
