Basil Donnelly has been an integral part of Team DLC since 2010, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company's transformation into a comprehensive national retail real estate platform.
Donnelly's expanded responsibilities will include oversight of the company’s finance, accounting, and legal sectors, alongside enterprise intelligence functions. Before his tenure at DLC, Donnelly served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel – Property for Centro Properties Group. There, he was a key participant in the U.S. Management Committee and dealt with the company’s legal aspects, which included leasing and property-level financing. His career also included significant experience in commercial real estate law at Morgan Lewis LLP, further bolstering his credentials in the field.
With over three decades of experience in the shopping center industry, Donnelly has authored numerous articles and has been a speaker on various commercial real estate topics. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Connecticut College and a Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law, where he contributed as an editor for the Villanova Environmental Law Journal.
