Chrono▷◀Reverse's Historic Live Performance at Zepp DiverCity in Summer 2025

Chrono▷◀Reverse Summer One Man Live 2025 Report

On August 16, 2025, the 2.5D vocal group Chrono▷◀Reverse, under VOISING, held their much-anticipated summer one-man live event titled ‘Chrono▷◀Reverse Summer One Man Live 2025 “VOLT-EX”’ at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo. This performance marked the largest scale event for the group thus far, showcasing their captivating energy and high-quality execution, leaving the audience in a state of exhilaration.

The concert followed their debut one-man live at KT Zepp Yokohama in December 2024 and was another significant step toward their goal of performing at Saitama Super Arena. Chrono▷◀Reverse playfully navigates through themes of “conflict and unity,” and this concert brilliantly illustrated their unique strengths through an engaging narrative and performance.

Part 2 of the Live Report

Chrono▷◀Reverse, who debuted in March 2024, consists of six members who have quickly carved a niche in the competitive world of vocal groups. A standout feature is the division between two teams, “White Team” and “Black Team,” each led by dual leaders, Kaname and ARKHE. Their ability to alternate between moments of rivalry and togetherness adds a theatrical element to their performances.

As the second live kicked off at Zepp DiverCity, the audience—lovingly called ChronoMates—was abuzz with excitement, waving six-color glowsticks. The stage, adorned with sheer curtains, set the tone for the captivating visuals that lay ahead. At the scheduled start time, an opening video displayed increasing gauge values, leading to an eruption of cheers as silhouettes of the members—Kaname, Amayume Remu, Shalu, ARKHE, Shino, and Urumiya—appeared against the backdrop of the curtain.

During the introduction, the video cleverly revealed half of the screen, allowing glimpses of the members, who greeted the crowd with waves and removed their jackets to showcase their vibrant outfits. The first performance of the night was the lead track ‘VOLT-EX.’ The group executed complex dance formations seamlessly while moments of charismatic performance—including unique quirks in their singing—added to the charm of their live show.

In a stunning display, Remu rapped perfectly from the center while Shino sang with meticulous precision, contrasting beautifully against ARKHE’s dynamic dance performance. Urumiya’s raw power during the lines “It’s not yet time to die, is it?” showcased their intense energy. Each member brought their own style and flair to the stage, creating a captivating viewing experience that left many fans feeling like they couldn’t see enough.

Kaname set a poignant tone for the song ‘Zanmu San’ by invoking its deeper meaning, focusing on healing from past grievances. The show continued with ‘LONGONIA,’ accentuated by traditional Chinese decorations, where the group integrated kung fu poses into their choreography, captivating the audience.

After a high-energy start, the focus shifted to solo performances. Shalu, the first soloist, engaged the crowd with a lively rhythm and gentle voice. His creative visuals, including a handstand during the interlude, kept fans enthralled. Next, ARKHE emerged with ‘EX RANK,’ surrendering to the music’s energy, giving an electrifying performance that resembled a spiritual experience.

Kaname’s emotionally charged rendition of ‘fake idea’ drew the audience in further, as he switched lyrics and sat on a chair during the final chorus. Shino’s performance of ‘Core’ also brought a heartfelt touch, emphasizing the evolution of his feelings over time. Remu followed with ‘Yoi Yami no Magic,’ captivating the audience with cute yet fierce energy.

Urumiya rounded off the solo performances with an intense version of ‘Destination.’ His fiery display included unexpected vocal outbursts, leaving an unforgettable impression on the crowd.

Following the solos, the group gathered for a powerful New track titled ‘propaganda,’ delivering what can only be described as their most fierce rap song yet. They returned to their roots with performances of ‘Antitype’ and ‘HEXAGRAM,’ creating a moment that beautifully summarized their journey from debut to present.

While the main set concluded on a serious note, the encore consisted of lively summer festival songs. Dressed in playful live t-shirts, the members showcased their camaraderie through coordinated dances and interactions with the audience, enhancing the spirit of unity.

The use of visual projections during the encore brought an innovative touch, effectively blending the members’ physical presence with their established visual identity. With their online roots deeply tied to streaming services, this performance bridged the gap between the digital and the physical, resonating well with fans and hinting at a promising future with more grand performances to come.

This remarkable event was not only about entertainment; it symbolized Chrono▷◀Reverse’s continuous evolution as they elevate their live presence across stages.
