Revolutionizing Sales Productivity with Google Calendar Integration
In an era where effective data management is crucial for business success,
ASPcom, a Kyoto-based software company, is set to transform how organizations manage sales scheduling through a newly enhanced integration with
Google Calendar. As part of their commitment to maximizing efficiency in sales workflows, this integration reduces the burdens of double data entry between existing systems and Google Calendar, effectively improving overall sales productivity.
Addressing the Input Burden
Understanding the resistance towards the adoption of Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools, especially in managing customer relationships, ASPcom has delved deep into the reasons behind such hesitance. A significant impediment noted in surveys among executives is the increase in workload due to data entry in multiple platforms. The challenge primarily arises when sales personnel are forced to update their schedules in both their familiar Google Calendar and the less intuitive SFA platforms like InfAjast.
The Enhanced Integration Overview
On track for launch in mid to late July 2026, the new update promises far more than just basic calendar sync functionalities. This innovative integration facilitates real-time, seamless interactions for teams, including sharing and managing schedules effortlessly across platforms. Here’s how it works:
Creating Events – A Streamlined Process
- - From InfAjast to Google Calendar: If a salesperson, say Salesperson A, schedules an appointment with Salesperson B in InfAjast, it will instantly reflect in both their Google Calendars.
- - From Google Calendar to InfAjast: Alternatively, when a sales person uses their Google Calendar to add an event, it will automatically sync back to InfAjast, ensuring both systems remain updated without manual entries.
Updating Events - Maintaining Accuracy
- - Update in InfAjast: When either salesperson updates their meeting in InfAjast, the changes will promptly appear in both Google Calendars, eliminating any inconsistency or communication breakdown.
- - Update in Google Calendar: If an adjustment is made directly in Google, the change will still reflect back in InfAjast for that salesperson. Note that updates done via Google are only visible to the respective person updating it.
The Benefits of Mutual Integration
This advancement brings several advantages:
- - Automatic Reflection of Schedules: Changes made within InfAjast will be synced immediately to Google, providing real-time updates.
- - Easy Schedule Management: Sales teams can create and review schedules without needing to open InfAjast repeatedly, enhancing workflow efficiency.
- - Double Booking Prevention: With real-time two-way synchronization, the risk of double bookings is drastically reduced, allowing for better time management and resource allocation.
