Kindo AI Welcomes Mathew Varghese as Chief Revenue Officer
Kindo AI, a prominent automation platform specialized in artificial intelligence, has appointed Mathew Varghese as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). This strategic move is designed to leverage Varghese's considerable expertise and enhance Kindo AI's growth trajectory in the rapidly evolving fields of Security Operations (SecOps) and Development Operations (DevOps).
With a distinguished career spanning over 25 years, Varghese brings a wealth of experience in sales leadership within the cybersecurity sector. He began his journey in the industry in 1997, climbing through various positions from sales engineer to director of sales engineering and ultimately becoming an enterprise account executive in several high-growth security companies. His career has been marked by notable successes, including playing a critical role at Duo Security where he was the first enterprise sales representative. In this position, he was instrumental in developing the company's enterprise go-to-market strategy and quickly transitioned into a global sales leadership role, effectively building the sales team during its early growth phase.
Following his impactful tenure at Duo, Varghese expanded his horizon by leading strategic accounts at Tanium and serving as vice president of sales at Bromium. His impressive track record continued at Silverfort, where he was the first sales leader and shaped the organization’s presence in the Americas. Varghese helped scale the region from initial customer acquisitions to generating tens of millions in annual recurring revenue (ARR), showcasing his capability to navigate through challenges, including the uncertainties brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Expressing his enthusiasm about joining Kindo AI, Varghese stated, "The opportunity at Kindo AI reminds me of the early chapters at companies like Duo and Silverfort. It's a rare chance to lead revenue growth for a company that's not only solving a massive problem, but doing it in a completely new way, with AI-native speed, embedded security, and operational simplicity. I’m honored to join the team and help scale this vision."
Kindo AI's CEO and co-founder, Ron Williams, emphatically backed Varghese's appointment, saying, "Mathew's track record speaks for itself. He's helped build category-defining companies from the ground up. He understands how to grow early-stage startups, sell complex security technology, and lead with both empathy and urgency. We couldn't ask for a better partner to lead our revenue team."
This appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Kindo AI, which recently announced securing $27.6 million in funding. The company has rapidly positioned itself as a leading platform for automating incident response, ensuring compliance, and effectively managing infrastructure workflows at scale.
Founded in 2022, Kindo AI aims to facilitate the operations of SecOps, DevOps, and ITOps teams through its innovative AI-native automation platform. The company focuses on deep security integrations, ready-to-use automation playbooks, and delivering support for both cloud and hybrid environments. Kindo AI empowers security and operations teams, allowing them to accelerate their processes without compromising on compliance or control.
With Mathew Varghese on board as CRO, Kindo AI is poised to make significant strides in the tech landscape, as it continues to innovate and address pressing challenges in cybersecurity and operational efficiency. For more information on the company's initiatives and capabilities, visit
