Tokyo Kasei Gakuin School's International DFC Kickoff Program
Tokyo Kasei Gakuin Junior and Senior High School is excited to announce the hosting of the kickoff program for the Design for Change (DFC) International Summit. This event will take place from November 27 to November 30, 2025, in Tokyo, Japan, in conjunction with the DFC's annual international gathering that supports children's activities toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across 71 countries.
The summit will bring together participants from 34 countries and regions, and the main venue will be the National Olympic Memorial Youth Center. Tokyo Kasei Gakuin, Japan's first DFC partner school, aims to provide a vibrant environment for cultural exchange on November 28 by welcoming children and adults from 12 different countries.
Educational Program Overview
The
Design for Change International Summit School Visit Program will host approximately 160 children and adults, engaging them in meaningful interactions through sports activities, traditional Japanese flower arranging (ikebana) workshops, and culinary experiences featuring Japanese cuisine. This initiative is designed to deepen friendships among young participants and foster connections for a better future together.
As part of the summit, the students of Tokyo Kasei Gakuin will showcase their commitment to the SDGs by presenting various projects, performances, and workshops related to the goals.
