Ryukyu 0: Director's Cut Now Available

On June 5, 2025, Sega has officially launched the action-adventure title Ryukyu 0: Director's Cut exclusively for the Nintendo Switch™ 2. This game, infamous for its captivating narrative and thrilling gameplay, takes players back to the late 1980s during the economic bubble in Tokyo and Osaka's vibrant nightlife districts.

About the Game

In Ryukyu 0, players step into the shoes of two young protagonists, Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima. Each character comes equipped with three unique battle styles, allowing for a combination of effortless controls that lead to exciting and action-packed street brawls. The storyline unfolds in the bustling areas of Kamurocho in Tokyo and Sotenbori in Osaka, where players will experience friendship, betrayal, and the heat of life within the crime-filled streets.

One of the key features in this director's cut edition is the inclusion of scenes featuring prominent characters previously missing from the original release. Additionally, players can also engage in the series' first-ever online multiplayer mode, called Kachikomi Online Battle, which allows up to four players to connect and enjoy exciting battles together.
