A delightful collaboration is on the horizon for Sumikko Gurashi fans as the popular character brand partners with various train station soba shops along the Hankyu and Nankai lines in the Kansai region. Starting from May 23, 2025, and running until August 17, 2025, this unique collaboration will take place at a total of 14 shops, including Wakana Soba, Mitaka Chaya, and Soba-Ya no Sanji. This marks the first time that Sumikko Gurashi has teamed up with all the station soba shops simultaneously.

This year, Sumikko Gurashi introduces a fresh theme titled “Dreaming Shippouzu,” envisioning cute food-themed characters who aspire to be idols. The new group, Shippouzu, features characters like Ebiten no Shippo, who gathers fellow members Ebi Fry no Shippo and Aji Fry no Shippo to pursue their idol dreams. During the collaboration, Shippouzu, along with their Sumikko friends, will grace the stage and bring their charming performances to life through food and drinks.

Within the shops, diners can enjoy the specially designed Sumikko Seating area, providing the perfect backdrop for a meal alongside beloved characters. As the summer heat increases, customers can indulge in a variety of takeout-friendly drinks and charming original sweets. Moreover, exclusive merchandise related to this collaboration will be available for fans.
