However, recent geopolitical developments, including the ongoing war, have accelerated the outflow of these talented engineers from their home countries. SAMI, alongside its subsidiary People Cloud, has committed to creating a conducive environment where Eastern European engineers can thrive in Japan. Upcoming Event: DEMO Day for Eastern European Engineers

As a kick-off undertaking for this partnership, TIB will host an event titled “Eastern European Engineer DEMO Day” on April 18, 2025. This event will showcase the outcome of a hackathon where Eastern European engineers and Japanese companies jointly share technological advancements and resources. Ten Eastern European engineers, aspiring to relocate to Japan, will arrive and live together in a traditional house in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, while implementing prototypes.

During the event, these engineers will showcase their skills and provide opportunities for in-depth interactions with Japanese corporations. This platform aims to enable hiring managers and technical heads from Japanese companies to engage with the engineers directly, thereby exploring potential hiring or project collaboration opportunities.
