Good Smile Company, headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, organized the event "Good Smile Fest 2026 Tokyo" from June 6 to 7, 2026, at Bellesalle Akihabara. This year, the festival evolved from the previous 'Smile Fest' and attracted a record-breaking attendance of approximately 25,000 visitors, presenting over 1,000 items, including more than 100 debut exhibits, appealing to fans of figures and plastic models alike.

Among the highlights of the event was a special collaboration exhibit commemorating the 35th anniversary of the creative group CLAMP and Good Smile Company's 25th anniversary. The brand unveiled a scale figure featuring Sakura Kinomoto from the iconic series "Cardcaptor Sakura," showcasing an original illustration sculpted in 3D. Additionally, fans were treated to the reveal of the scale figure, "Hatsune Miku Symphony 2025 Sapporo Version."

In the realm of new works, the exhibit displayed a unique collaboration figure of “Gyaru Tomie and Hello Kitty.” The "COVERS" series also made an impression with works like "Holo x saitom" from "Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf," and the figure based on the winning entry from the initial Hatsune Miku x Good Smile illustration contest—"Hatsune Miku Smile x Future Version."

Moreover, the Technology Corner elaborated on Good Smile Company’s dedication to craftsmanship. Celebrating 25 years of creation, visitors were introduced to the production process from modeling to painting, including the exhibit of robotic arm painting machines. This was a unique opportunity to discover the quality and expressiveness that the company pursues in figure creation.

The Nendoroid series also showcased exciting new figures, such as “Nendoroid Godzilla (2023)” and “POP UP PARADE SP Tsunayoshi Sawada & Reborn.” A special corner was dedicated to the new project, the "Combination God Series," showcasing the first work entitled “Dandevaine, Beast King Warrior” with a release slated for October 2026. This area exhibited the robot toys and plastic models, "THE Combination DX Dandevaine" and "MODEROID Dandevaine (Action Model)," set to coincide with the upcoming anime.

Throughout the event, fans enjoyed various activities, including a special greeting collaboration featuring Bunzo from "Ramen Akane Cat" and the beloved character "Work Cat." Popular cosplayer Nene (@__zzz___oo0) and character costumes like Spica and Uidaga also made appearances, enhancing the excitement and engagement amongst the attendees.
