Echigo Yuzawa is now offering an exciting revamped campaign called 'Echigo Yuzawa Tour', which starts from July 18, 2023, and runs until November 8, 2023. Originally part of the popular 'Scenic Hopping Tour' initiative, this new campaign invites visitors to experience the stunning landscapes and rich culture of the Echigo Yuzawa and Minami Uonuma regions via the interconnected ropeways and gondolas of the Yuzawa Kogen Panorama Park and The Veranda Ishikidatsu Maruyama.

This year, the campaign has expanded significantly, covering 36 tourism facilities, hot springs, souvenir shops, and more across the Echigo Yuzawa and Minami Uonuma areas, providing guests with ample offers and discounts to enhance their traveling experience. Not only does it allow access to the breathtaking panorama of the Yuzawa region, but also provides the opportunity to immerse in local delicacies, unique crafts, and the warmth of authentic Japanese onsen experiences.

What’s Included in the Campaign?

The 'Echigo Yuzawa Tour' campaign includes the following highlights:

1. Ropeway and Gondola Ticket Exchange
Visitors who present their used tickets from either the Yuzawa Kogen ropeway or The Veranda Ishikidatsu Maruyama at the respective ticket counters can gain complimentary access to the opposite facility's gondola rides or attractive discounts.
- Present a Yuzawa Kogen ropeway ticket at The Veranda Ishikidatsu Maruyama to receive a gondola round-trip ticket for free (usually priced at ¥2,000).
- Present a used ticket from The Veranda Ishikidatsu Maruyama at the Yuzawa Kogen ticket counter to purchase a round-trip ticket for the ropeway at a special price of ¥1,500 (regularly ¥3,500).

2. Discounts at Local Attractions
Beyond the ropeway exchanges, participants can also benefit from various discounts at 36 designated facilities throughout the region by simply showing their used tickets. Participants can expect perks like entry fee reductions, complimentary gifts, and discounts on food and beverages at multiple partner facilities, making it an immersive experience.
