Midea Showcases Cutting-Edge Heating and Energy Solutions at Chillventa 2026

From October 13 to 15, 2026, Midea exhibited its latest innovations in heating and energy solutions at Chillventa 2026, a key event for the HVAC industry held in Nuremberg, Germany. This year, Midea emphasized advancements in indoor heat pumps, heating technology suited for cold climates, smart home comfort, and comprehensive energy management.

During the event, Midea was honored with two prestigious awards from Euromonitor, recognizing it for the fourth consecutive year as the "World's No.1 Residential Inverter Air Conditioner Company" and the "World's No.1 R290 Air Conditioner Company." Ralph Kobsik, General Manager of Midea Europe GmbH, accepted the awards, highlighting Midea's commitment to innovation and sustainability in the HVAC sector.

Major Highlights from the Exhibition

One of the standout products was the H-Pack, a domestic heat pump solution developed by Midea’s European R&D team. This innovative system eliminates the need for outdoor units, addressing common installation challenges and concerns related to space, noise, and regulatory compliance. The modular design simplifies installation and maintenance while remote diagnostics reduce the need for service calls. The H-Pack system can operate in both fully electric and hybrid modes, showcasing its versatility across various real-world scenarios with pilot projects presented at their booth.

Another exciting product unveiled was VitaBreeze, which features AirGrid technology that allows users to visualize airflow with a smartphone and direct it precisely where needed. Alongside this, it offers broad air distribution, smart occupancy detection, and the latest Breezeless Pro technology, which boasts a 30% larger airflow outlet area. Additionally, the ClimaBalance humidity control and the predictive algorithm ECOMASTER 2.0 optimize energy consumption, making it an efficient choice for modern homes.

In the premium split air conditioning segment, the Raynor model set a new standard for performance and design. It combines A+++ cooling and heating power, along with a design that garnered both the iF Design Award and the German Design Award. Notably, the Raynor Pro is designed for Nordic climates, delivering 100% heating capacity at temperatures as low as -25°C, and is operable down to -40°C.

Midea’s PortaSplit unit generated significant interest due to its focus on real European window installation scenarios. It provides flexible use, high performance, and operates quietly, simplified by an easy installation process that significantly lowers the installation costs. Midea announced that by 2027, PortaSplit will shift to utilizing R290 as its refrigerant for improved environmental sustainability.

Comprehensive Energy Management Solutions

Another major highlight is MHELIOS, Midea’s comprehensive home energy management solution. This system optimizes energy storage and consumption based on dynamic electricity pricing, contributing to reductions in household energy costs while enhancing grid performance. It also integrates the control of electric vehicle charging stations, heat pumps, solar systems, and energy storage.

Rooted in its commitment to the motto "Green Vision, Blue Future," Midea continues to push the envelope with innovations in climate technology and energy solutions, enabling more efficient, comfortable, and sustainable living throughout Europe. A German case study indicated potential annual savings of around €1,866 for a household consuming 10,800 kWh utilizando MHELIOS.

In summary, Midea's participation at Chillventa 2026 not only showcased its pioneering products but reaffirmed its role as a leader in transforming the HVAC industry towards a more sustainable future. Midea's ongoing innovations are set to enhance comfort and efficiency in homes across Europe.
