WILDSIDE x Suzume Uchida Collaboration Launch

In an exciting alliance, WILDSIDE, a conceptual project by Yohji Yamamoto, has teamed up with renowned artist Suzume Uchida for a special collection of items. This collaboration coincides with Uchida’s solo exhibition titled "Be You for Real," taking place at the SAI gallery located in the MIYASHITA PARK area of Shibuya. The new items are set to launch on December 6, 2025, at 12:00 PM JST, available on the WILDSIDE online platform as well as select stores including WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO in Osaka and Harajuku, and at Yohji Yamamoto’s Hankyu Men's Tokyo.

The collaboration features unique pieces inspired by three exclusive artworks created by Uchida specifically for this collection. Each item, ranging from t-shirts to rayon shirts and tote bags, integrates these intricate designs, showcasing Uchida's distinctive, delicate touch through high-quality printing techniques. The resulting products promise to reflect the essence of Uchida’s artistry while making them accessible fashion statements for collectors and fans alike.

About Suzume Uchida

Suzume Uchida, born in 1986, is an artist who graduated from Tsukuba University. After leaving her corporate job, she ventured into the world of art and began her journey collection which led her to start painting at the age of 27. Her first solo exhibition happened in 2014, and since then, she has exhibited both domestically and internationally. Uchida's work captures vitality and experience rather than negative emotions, bringing her realistic artworks to life. Notably, she has collaborated with brands like Yohji Yamamoto, Y-3, and BE@RBRICK, enriched by deep professional ties.

Exhibition Details

Suzume Uchida's exhibition "Be You for Real" will take place from December 6 to December 26, 2025, at SAI. The gallery will be open from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
