Explore the Opportunities: Second Annual Blueberry Boost Accelerator Now Open for Applications

The Second Annual Blueberry Boost Accelerator

The U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council (USHBC), in collaboration with VentureFuel, has officially opened applications for the second edition of the Blueberry Boost Accelerator. This program aims to discover and nurture innovative startups that utilize blueberries as a primary ingredient. Following the success of the inaugural program, the 2026 accelerator invites startups to apply by June 12, 2026, as they seek to enhance the blueberry industry's presence through creative and market-driven solutions.

Program Overview

The Blueberry Boost Accelerator is an eight-week hybrid program designed for early-stage, revenue-generating companies that are innovating with blueberries. Participants will benefit from expert mentorship, tailored commercialization support, and strategic guidance essential for rapid growth. Selected startups will gain access to professional brand assets including video commercials and sales materials, increased media exposure, and invaluable connections to buyers, investors, and industry leaders.

The ultimate goal of the program is to propel the cohort’s growth and facilitate their participation in the upcoming Blueberry Convention scheduled for September 22-25, 2026, in Monterey, California. There, startups will have the unique opportunity to showcase their products and pitches to a broader audience, vying for cash prizes to further boost their business endeavors—$20,000 for the grand prize and $10,000 for the runner-up.
