Church of the Highlands: A Fresh Start for Women
In a time when many feel disconnected, the Church of the Highlands is stepping up to bring women together for a rejuvenating experience at their upcoming Together Women's Conference. Slated for October 3-4, 2025, this two-day event will span across 17 campuses in Alabama and Georgia, inviting women from all walks of life to find community, purpose, and renewed faith.
A Gathering of Inspiration
The conference will feature renowned speakers and performers, including New York Times bestselling author Lisa Bevere, acclaimed Christian speaker Lisa Harper, and Grammy-nominated artist DOE. Each guest will share their journey and insights, aiming to inspire attendees to embrace their identity and role in the world. Lead Pastor Mark Pettus emphasizes the importance of this gathering, stating, "This conference is designed to encourage women at any stage of life. We believe God has something fresh and life-changing for every person who comes."
The theme of this year's conference, "Made New," is drawn from Ephesians 4:22-24, which calls for women to shed their past and step into the new identity that God has in store for them. With sessions focusing on personal transformation and connection, attendees will leave feeling empowered and uplifted.
Pastor Jill Pettus, Mark's wife and co-organizer of the event, shares her sincere belief that everyone has areas in their life where a fresh start is needed. "The good news is that Jesus is still in the business of making all things new," she notes, adding that this event promises to be a life-giving, faith-enhancing weekend of connection and community.
What to Expect
Participants will be immersed in a weekend filled with worship, teaching sessions, and small group interactions, each tailored to help women personally connect with God. Additional highlights of the conference will include a special After Party on Friday night featuring dinner and desserts, and a Saturday lunch designed for networking and fun. This year, attendees will also have the exclusive chance to shop at the Together Conference Collection.
Spaces for both the Friday Night After Party and Saturday's activities are still available for registration, with fees set at $75. Scholarships are accessible for those in need; potential attendees can reach out via email to request assistance. Importantly, this conference is open to all women - church membership is not required.
