Graybar Announces New Leadership Changes for District Managers

Graybar, one of North America's leading distributors of electrical, industrial, automation, and connectivity products, recently shared significant updates regarding leadership within its district operations. This move is part of Graybar's ongoing strategy to enhance business management and regional performance.

On April 9, 2026, the company revealed that Regis Ganley would be taking the role of District Vice President for the Southwest District, effective June 1, 2026. Ganley’s appointment follows the retirement of Jeff Wanner, who will leave his position after a commendable decade with the company. Ganley brings a wealth of experience, totaling 35 years in the industry, having joined Graybar in 2021 as the Vice President of Market Development. His new responsibilities will include overseeing business operations across a diverse geographical area, including Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, eastern Nevada, western New Mexico, and northwest Texas. Graybar expects his leadership to contribute significantly to the company’s operations and growth in these regions.

Simultaneously, Graybar announced another important appointment — Scott Kennedy will step in as District Vice President for New York, starting July 1, 2026. He succeeds Rick Harvey, who is set to be promoted to Regional Vice President. Kennedy has been with Graybar since 1997 and has served in various capacities, most recently as the Director of Electrical Sales in New York. He will now be responsible for managing operations across key areas, including New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and eastern Pennsylvania.

Brian Delaney, Senior Vice President for Graybar's West Region and Subsidiaries, expressed gratitude towards Wanner for his substantial contributions to the company. He commented, "We thank Jeff Wanner for his many contributions to the company over the past decade. We also congratulate Regis Ganley and Scott Kennedy on their promotions to District Vice President. Both are proven leaders who will continue to make a significant impact on our business. I look forward to working with them to drive Graybar's long-term success in their respective territories."

Graybar prides itself not only on its status as a Fortune 500 corporation but also on its employee-owned model, which has contributed to its competitive edge in the distribution market. With a strong workforce and an extensive network of 355 distribution facilities across North America, Graybar is a vital player in the supply chain, providing top-tier electrical and connectivity products. This robust infrastructure supports its ability to offer high-quality services to customers across various sectors.

These significant updates in Graybar’s leadership team not only highlight the company’s commitment to promoting experienced professionals but also reflect its strategic vision to adapt and lead in an ever-evolving market. As Ganley and Kennedy step into their new roles, expectations remain high as they look to enhance business operations and service quality in their appointed districts.

With such leadership changes, Graybar positions itself to better navigate the myriad challenges and opportunities present in the industry, ensuring that the company continues to deliver excellence and innovation to its customers.
