On November 28, Sesame Street Market, the official store featuring a unique blend of retail, cafes, and workshops, will launch an exciting new item line themed around Mars, coinciding with the celebration of Mars Day. This collection will be available at the Ikebukuro Sunshine City store, Urban Dock LalaPort Toyosu store, and the official online store.

Inspiration Behind MARS COLLECTION

The MARS COLLECTION draws inspiration from the first Mars probe's launch date, which is commemorated on November 28. This vibrant and playful collection features a variety of designs inspired by space and Mars, bringing a sense of imagination and fun. The star of this collection is Yip Yip, the Martian character who occasionally visits Sesame Street to learn about Earth.

Joining Yip Yip are other beloved characters like Elmo, who travels the universe in a spacecraft, and Cookie Monster, who enjoys the cosmic adventure. The offerings range from plush costumes that transform your favorite stuffed animals into astronauts to a brand-new track jacket, metallic tote bags, pouches, hair clips, and more, encompassing both apparel and miscellaneous items. Newly introduced plush charms will also include Yip Yip, and a new blue variant of Yip Yip's plush badge will make its debut. A special woven tag featuring the SESAME STREET logo in silver thread is another highlight of this collection.
