In a significant milestone for international cooperation in the energy sector, JDEnergy has successfully completed the commissioning of its first utility-scale energy storage project outside of its home market. It achieved all required parameters on the first attempt and received onsite certification from TÜV Rheinland. The system further succeeded in passing the automatic Frequency Restoration Reserve (aFRR) accreditation test by MAVIR on April 23, further validating its capabilities.
