Digital Hollywood University's Strategic Alliance with Duy Tan University

In a remarkable move to strengthen its hacker education, Digital Hollywood University (DHU) has established a comprehensive partnership with Duy Tan University, the first private university in Vietnam. This partnership, formalized on September 14, 2025, under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marks a significant step in DHU's commitment to enhancing its cybersecurity curriculum and preparing students for international hacker competitions.

DHU, which is located in Ochanomizu, Tokyo, has a track record for educating students in digital content, strategic communication, and more through its Digital Communication Department and Professional Graduate School of Digital Content Research. The collaboration aims to promote academic exchanges between faculty and students of both universities, thus enhancing research capabilities and educational quality.

Details of the MoU

The MoU highlights key initiatives that will foster cooperation in cybersecurity and related technology. These initiatives include:
1. Promoting scientific research collaboration in cybersecurity with shared seminars, conferences, and workshops.
2. Developing joint educational programs specifically for students majoring in cybersecurity, which will include creating textbooks, delivering courses, and providing academic support activities.
3. Encouraging cultural and academic exchanges, sharing educational experiences, and supporting participation through scholarships and funding.

This ambitious MoU was made possible through the efforts of Yuto Tanaka, the honorary dean of Duy Tan University and advisor for DHU's hacker club. Mr. Tanaka initiated hacker training at Duy Tan University in cooperation with Fore Co., Ltd. and Suganuma Group from September 2023, which further emphasizes the international dimension of this educational initiative.
