FP Movement to Open New Store in Palm Desert

FP Movement, the acclaimed activewear brand from Free People, is thrilled to announce the opening of its new store in Palm Desert, California, set for October 1, 2026. This exciting expansion marks a significant milestone for the brand, which is dedicated to providing stylish and high-performance activewear to its ever-growing customer base.

A Prime New Location

Located at The Gardens on El Paseo, the new boutique encompasses 2,297 square feet of meticulously designed retail space. This strategic location places FP Movement alongside Free People’s existing storefront, which debuted just a few months prior. By establishing a presence in this popular shopping center, FP Movement aims to cater to the active, fashion-forward individuals of Palm Desert and surrounding areas.

Signature Collections and More

Inside, shoppers can expect a diverse range of FP Movement’s signature collections, including fan-favorites like Never Better, Hot Shot, and Field Tripper. The boutique will feature a variety of high-performance activewear essentials, ranging from comfortable leggings and supportive bras to stylish tanks and soft, breathable pieces designed for both workouts and casual wear. Additionally, the collection will spotlight beloved items such as the Happiness Runs and Get Your Flirt On Shorts, catering to various fitness and lifestyle needs.

Contemporary Design and Aesthetic

The new FP Movement store boasts a modern and airy aesthetic that aligns perfectly with the brand's vibrant product lineup. Key design elements include engineered white oak flooring, warm white and soft pink finishes, and a clean backdrop that enhances the shopping experience. With five curtained fitting rooms featuring backlit mirrors and adjustable lighting, customers will enjoy a welcoming and convenient atmosphere. Furthermore, a communal area equipped with a large wall-mounted mirror adds to the boutique's appeal.

A stylish cash wrap constructed from straight wood tambour, adorned with an acrylic iridescent Bhutti logo, along with two large TVs showcasing rotating video content, rounds out the innovative retail space.
