Meet the Speakers
We are pleased to introduce our distinguished speakers:
Kohji Wakai, Head of Corporate Sales at UPWARD
Kohji graduated from Kansai University and joined Daiwa Securities in 2018, working in retail sales. In 2020, he joined UPWARD as a field salesperson amidst the pandemic's operational shifts, gaining experience in customer success. He has successfully promoted sales across the SMB to GB range and was appointed Head of Corporate Sales in July 2024.
Yosuke Shimada, Enterprise Sales at UPWARD
Yosuke began his career at Innoventure in 2014 as a route salesperson, achieving top sales for two consecutive years. His journey includes roles at logistics startup Hacobu, where he handled SMB to enterprise sales, and at Kamimashi, where he led sales strategy and management. He joined UPWARD as an enterprise AE in February 2025.
