Expanding Capabilities in Spatial Biology

Established in April 2024, STOmics has pioneered innovative solutions in spatial multi-omics through its groundbreaking Stereo-seq technology. This technology enables researchers to capture biological data with a large field of view and nano-scale resolution, offering unbiased whole-transcriptome capture alongside integrated multi-omics solutions. The implementations of Stereo-seq span various domains, including developmental biology, organ atlas mapping, neuroscience, and digital pathology, significantly contributing to over 60 scientific publications in renowned journals such as Cell, Science, and Nature.

With this acquisition, MGI aims to enhance its comprehensive offerings, providing accessible and efficient spatial-temporal omics workflows for customers, thus delivering deeper, three-dimensional biological insights. Specializing in commercializing nanopore sequencing technology, CycloneSEQ offers two cutting-edge platforms: G100-ER for lower throughput and G400-ER for higher throughput options. Notably, the G100-ER* has received CE marking under the European Union's In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation (IVDR), affirming its readiness for regulatory markets.
