SASSEN Experience Takes Flight at ITAMI Sora Sports Kids Park

On November 29, 2025, the ITAMI Sora Sports Kids Park was held at Osaka International Airport, where families flocked to enjoy a day packed with fun and excitement. This event, which featured the next-generation digital kendo sport known as SASSEN, drew around 220 attendees and became a delightful showcase of both sport and community engagement.

From early morning, the atmosphere was electrifying as families arrived, eager to participate in various activities. The SASSEN booth, in particular, was a major attraction, constantly buzzing with children eager to experience digital kendo for the first time.

The participants wielded LED swords equipped with sensors and faced off in intense one-on-one matches. After the competitions, shouts of joy filled the air as kids exclaimed, “I want to do it again!” and “I beat my dad!” Their laughter and excitement underscored just how much fun they were having.

Adding to the event's excitement, the All Japan SASSEN Association showcased a SASSEN performance on stage at 11:30 AM, captivating the audience and highlighting the sport’s competitive spirit and appeal. This was not just a day of fun; it was an introduction to a sport that is quickly gaining popularity.

Organized by Kansai Airport Co., Ltd and supported by Celespo Co., Ltd, ITAMI Sora Sports Kids Park aimed to foster a love for sports among children. The All Japan SASSEN Association plans to continue spreading the joy of SASSEN through events and educational initiatives across the country.
