Changemaker Meetup 2025: Empowering Young Changemakers
In a world facing numerous social challenges such as climate change, environmental pollution, educational disparities, and child poverty, young people are stepping up to make a difference. The
Changemaker Meetup 2025 invites individuals aged 25 and under to present their social actions aimed at addressing these societal issues. This dynamic exchange event will be held both in-person in Osaka and Kumamoto, and online, encouraging participation from youths across the nation.
About the Event
This innovative event, hosted by the certified NPO
Free the Children Japan, is designed to celebrate the achievements of U25 youth engaging in social action. After two years of online-only events due to the pandemic, the
Changemaker Fest has expanded, featuring over 30 prominent guest speakers in 2023 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall and a collaborative choir program with singer AI in 2024 at Zepp Haneda. The 2025 event will adopt a hybrid format, connecting live venues in Kumamoto and Osaka with an online audience, allowing for greater interaction and engagement among participants.
The
Changemaker Meetup encourages collaboration and learning among young people who aspire to create a better society. Attendees will showcase their social actions, exchange ideas, and get inspired through interactions with renowned guests and fellow changemakers.
