The program aims to introduce university and graduate students to the careers of pilots and the aviation industry as a whole.

Through this hands-on experience, participants will not only learn about the specific operations of JAL and J-AIR but also engage in group activities and networking opportunities with current pilots. This program is designed to provide a deep understanding of the pilots' sense of duty, commitment to safety, and the significance of teamwork in daily operations.

The self-training pilot program is accessible to those who have no prior knowledge or flying qualifications, allowing aspiring pilots to embark on their journey from scratch. Program Details

Eligibility

This program targets students who are in their 3rd year of university or above, graduate students, and those enrolled in specialized high schools. (Excluding junior college students and students in their 1st or 2nd university years).

Activities

Participants will engage in operational introductions, group discussions, and interactions with JAL and J-AIR flight crew members. This will provide insights into the true nature of the pilot profession and the essence of what it means to be an airman. Please note that the content may be subject to change.

Date and Format

The program will run from January 7 to January 9, 2026. Candidates will select one day to participate, with these dates potentially subject to alteration. The experience can be participated in either face-to-face or online, depending on the preference of the applicants.
