NextFlex, a leading institute for hybrid electronics manufacturing in the United States, has officially announced the establishment of a new operational hub, known as the Alabama Node, aimed at propelling the growth of hybrid electronics. Situated in Huntsville, Alabama, this Node intends to play a vital role in enhancing regional supply chains, supporting innovative development, and increasing the commercialization of hybrid electronic technologies.

Through the pioneering work of Auburn University's Electronics Packaging Research Institute (EPRI), the Node leverages years of experience in electronics packaging to address critical industry needs.

Professor Pradeep Lall, a renowned expert in additive-manufactured electronics at Auburn University, will lead the Alabama Node. Emphasizing the advantages of hybrid electronics, he remarked that these technologies are redefining the automotive and aerospace industries by delivering lightweight, highly efficient, and sophisticated systems that greatly enhance performance and safety.

Hybrid electronics facilitate the development of advanced driver-assistance systems, avionics, and touch control interfaces, among other applications.
